The Ghost Squash is a version of the Ghost that came about from JJF’s constant desire to experiment with new tweaks on his favorite boards. John’s feedback from his first few sessions on it was simple - the board felt great, familiar like his favorites, but the squash tail felt fresh and fast, a bit more snappy and still held the rail through all of his turns. He immediately suggested that we should make that version available for everyone to try and we love the idea, so here it is.

We are building the boards directly off of John’s latest file which has some small thickness adjustments made over the winter season, but the only significant difference is in the tail. We pushed out the roundtail into a semi pulled-in squash which straightens out the last 12 inches in the outline and adds extra lift and creates more of a pivot point than you get out of the classic version. This small change adds a bit more versatility to the Ghost in the lower wave ranges that you might want to ride it in, while still keeping that classic feeling of Ghost magic in good/bigger waves.

Stock boards will ship from one of our factory stock locations in Hawaii, California, or Florida. You can select Fed Ex Ground shipping to your door, or Air Cargo where you can pick up from your local Air Cargo facility outside most major airports. Please note that boards over 6ft are too big to ship on Fed Ex Ground from Hawaii will have to go on Air cargo for pick up.

Please allow 3-5 business days for stock boards to be validated, packed, and picked up or dropped off at Air cargo. Once picked up by Fed Ex ground or dropped for at air cargo the it should arrive within 2-5 days. Once your boards ships you will receive tracking info to track on Fed Ex or Air Cargo.
