The Phantom Two is our new incarnation of one of the most popular Daily Drivers we have in our lineup- the Phantom. It is still the middle child in the Ghost Family, a step-down version of the Ghost ,designed to be your go-to board for less everyday conditions and a great board for surfers of all levels.

After years of popularity we decided it was time to make a few changes to update and improve on the original design without taking away any of its best characteristics- easy speed, fast paddling, stability and maneuverability.

The Phantom Two is a Ghost squashed down, souped up, and with added volume, great for your everyday sessions in less than epic conditions.

We started with the Ghost rocker but added some nose rocker through the last 12’’ to help make later, steeper drops easier to make.

It has deep single concave under the front foot, running into single/double concave through the fins and then a light vee running off the tail behind the rear fin. All this adds up to easy speed, lots of drive and nimble maneuverability.

The added width in the tail and nose create a more parallel, fuller outline that helps keep speed up through slower sections and tight turns, but the new outline features a hip squash that allows for more pivotal surfing and tighter radius turns.

The rails are med/full but not chunky, giving you more floatation and speed without taking away the sensitivity that we all love. And, as in many of our designs, the volume carries through the chest area of the board for solid paddle performance without too much overall thickness.

Still best in waist-high to overhead waves of all types, the Phantom Two is a great updated daily driver with a high performance edge.

Depending on your ability, ride it around your height, a touch wider and about the same thickness as your Ghost, or go bigger and wider for those of you at more of an intermediate level. This is a great Daily Driver board to help raise your performance level without sacrificing the things that currently benefit you.
