Koa Rothman was born on and raised on Oahus North Shore and has become known as a standout surfer at many of the worlds heaviest waves.
Koa is consistently proving his talents at his home break, Pipeline, and pushing the limits to arguably the most dangerous wave in the world, Teahupo'o. Koa is pretty much fearless when it comes to big wave riding and doing what it takes to define a true waterman for the future generations. In 2014, Koa was awarded both the Tube and Wipeout of the Year at the Billabong XXL event. In 2016, he was the youngest competitor at the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau as an alternate, charging so hard that he earned an invitation for the event this year.
